Referral scheme

Version of 10 October 2026

If you recommend StugaWatch and the person becomes a customer, you earn 10% of what they pay us in their first 12 months. Businesses are paid in money; our customers get credit on their own invoices.

Who can join

StugaWatch decides who joins and may refuse anyone. There is no exclusivity.

  • Businesses with F-skatt that are not estate agents (fastighetsmäklare): holiday-rental agencies, property managers, cleaning and caretaking firms, our partner tradespeople and other businesses. You earn a commission in money.
  • StugaWatch customers aged 18 or over. You earn credit on your own StugaWatch invoices, never money.
  • Estate agents can't join at present (see "Estate agents" below).

What you earn

  • 10% of what the customer you referred pays for StugaWatch's own services, excluding VAT, during the 12 months from their first order with your code.
  • On work done by one of our partner tradespeople, only StugaWatch's own margin on the job counts, not the tradesperson's part.
  • At most 2,000 SEK (excluding VAT) for each customer you refer.
  • Only money we have received counts: nothing on unpaid, refunded or credited amounts. If the customer gets RUT or ROT, that part counts once Skatteverket has paid it.
  • A payment counts 14 days after it reached us, once the right of withdrawal has run out. If money is later paid back or credited, what it earned is taken off what you earn next.
  • One referrer per customer: the first valid code counts. You can't refer yourself, and a code only counts for someone who isn't already our customer.
  • Businesses: once a month you invoice StugaWatch for what you've earned (My referrals shows the amount and what the invoice must say), and Andy pays by bank transfer to the account on your invoice, which must be the payout account he has confirmed. Before the first payment we check your F-skatt at Skatteverket. Swedish VAT-registered businesses add 25% VAT; businesses in Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands invoice without Swedish VAT and give their EU VAT number (reverse charge).
  • Customers: your credit is taken off your own next StugaWatch invoice as a separate discount line, "Rabatt: kundtips". It is applied before any RUT or ROT is worked out, and never takes an invoice below zero. It can't be paid out in money or passed to anyone else, and it expires 24 months after it was earned.
  • Referral credit can be combined with the founding offer.
  • A credit may in some cases be taxable for you; we do not give tax advice.

Telling people about us

Share your own code or link yourself. We never contact the people you tell, and we never take anyone's contact details from you: there is no "send to a friend" by email. A personal recommendation, one to one, needs no label.

  • If you post your code or link publicly (social media, a forum or Facebook group, a blog or a review site), say clearly at the very start that it's an ad, in the post's language: "Reklam" or "Annons", "Reklame", "Anzeige", "Reclame", or "I get a discount/commission if you become a customer". A hashtag at the end is not enough. My referrals has a line you can copy.
  • Don't pose as an independent customer review, don't offer anything in return for reviews, and don't make claims about our prices or services that aren't true.
  • Businesses tell their own clients that they earn a commission, and don't present StugaWatch as an independent choice.
  • If these rules are broken, we can withdraw your code and take back what it earned.

What you see, and what we keep

On My referrals you see, for each referral, only a reference (such as "Referral 1043"), its status, the month and the amount. You never see the customer's name, address or area, what they buy, visit dates, when they're away, keys or alarm details, or what they ordered. The person you referred is told, where they enter the code, that we let you know they became a customer and nothing else.

How we handle personal data, also yours as a referrer: /privacy/

Agreement for businesses

When a business joins, this is our written referral agreement. You accept it when you sign up, and we keep the version and the date.

  • Rate and base: 10% excluding VAT of what each customer you refer pays for StugaWatch's own services; on a partner tradesperson's job, only StugaWatch's margin.
  • Cap and window: at most 2,000 SEK excluding VAT per referred customer, on money received in the 12 months from their first order.
  • When it is earned: once the customer's money (including any RUT or ROT part paid by Skatteverket) has reached us and 14 days have passed.
  • Clawback: refunds and credit notes are taken off what you earn next; anything we have paid you that a refund cancels is deducted from your next payment.
  • Payment: a monthly batch by bank transfer against your invoice, only to the account on the invoice, which must be the payout account Andy has confirmed. You must have F-skatt; we check it before the first payment.
  • Disclosure: you tell your clients that you earn a commission, label public posts as ads at the start, and never present StugaWatch as an independent choice.
  • No data sharing: we share no customer data with you beyond the reference, status, month and amount, and you never pass us anyone else's contact details.
  • Either of us can end the agreement at any time by email. What was earned before then is paid. If you break these rules we may withdraw your code and reverse what it earned. Swedish law applies.

Estate agents

Estate agents (fastighetsmäklare) can't join the scheme. Under the Swedish Estate Agents Act (2021:516, chapter 3 section 9) an agent must not take payment for recommending services where that could harm trust, and that includes discounts and favourable terms. So we never give an agent anything personally: no money, gifts, vouchers or free services.

If an estate agency asks us, what we can offer is a welcome offer for its clients: a fixed discount on their first StugaWatch invoice. Any other arrangement is made only with the agency itself, on its written request and against its invoice, under a written agreement: the agency alone judges whether it fits the Act and its own rules; the agent tells the client in writing about the arrangement and the amount before the assignment agreement, or as soon as possible; there are no quotas or conditions; StugaWatch is never named as a recommendation in official sale documents; and the agency confirms in writing that it follows this.

Disclosure text for an estate agent's client

If an agency has such an agreement with us, the agent gives the client this text in writing, with the amount filled in, before the assignment agreement or as soon as possible:

Our agency has an agreement with StugaWatch, which looks after holiday homes. If you become a StugaWatch customer, [you get a welcome discount of ___ kr on your first invoice] / [our agency receives ___ kr]. You are free to choose any other provider. We don't recommend anyone in particular, and the agreement doesn't affect our work for you.
